i'm smoother than words
• • • full name: Mitsuko 'Tenshi' Kimura • • • nicknames: Suko, Mitsy • • • gender: Female • • • date of birth & age: February fourth 2161 -- age fourteen • • • sexuality: Heterosexual • • • race: Legendary shifter -- Pegasus • • • face claim: Aizawa Minto + Tokyo Mew Mew you're smoother than curves
Mitsuko's Pegasus appearance is not very obvious, other than her eyes. Due to the DNA shot, she wasn't injected with a lot of the substance, because of her age. If she had received the normal quantity, she would have died a slow, painful death. When she is startled or her heart rate increases, the wings of Pegasus protrude from her back, small, feathery objects emitting from the back of her shoulders. Depending on how the situation goes, or how much adrenaline rushes through her veins, the wings will continue to grow, until the size of her body. Suko has the ability to fly, coming from the flee instinct equine's possess. She has no control over these powers yet, and they can pop out at random times, when least expected. She has not yet learned how to control the power she has inherited, but hopefully will as she matures and grows stronger.
Hair: Mistsuko's hair in naturally a deep blue, although cerulean streaks can be found, lighting up her hair color altogether. Her locks fall down just past her shoulders, forming itself into loose ringlets when not tended to. Suko usually pins her hair up in two buns, as it's hard to manage and is a bother when it is windy. She has thick bangs, cut choppy just below her eyebrows.
Eyes: Suko's eyes are wonderfully bright, and portray her emotions easily. Her ocean blue orbs are easy to read, allowing other people to know how she feels. Her eye's are also like mood rings, the shades varying often, from a deep, stormy blue, to a vibrant turquoise color. Due to the DNA fusions, Suko's eyes shift shape's slightly. Like the equine's, when she is startled or scared, the rounded circles become slitted ovals, following the traits of the Pegasus.
Height: Suko comes to around 5"2. She is rather short for her age, but she suits it due to her petite figure. She can use her height to her advantage, being able to slip by people unnoticed, by her elegant speed.
Weight: Suko is very slim, almost underweight. She weighs about 97lbs, but this helps her with her ballet. She is able to jump and prance around without any friction or noise, adding more elegance to her already graceful step. Suko keeps this body, thanks to her high metabolism, and her endless hours in the dance studio, perfecting her slender movements.
Piercings/Tattoos: Suko has both her ears pierced once, a gift from her cousin when she was seven years old. She usually wears silver diamonds or sapphire studs, especially when she is dancing.
Anything else?: Suko loves wearing vintage dresses, in every season. Her favorite color by far is blue, and most of her wardrobe contains that color. She likes small bows and ribbons, and placing them in her hair or on her dresses.
i speak so eloquently
My h a p p y s i d e Mitsuko was always a happy, bubbly child. Her infectious optimism could light up anyone, replace frowns with smiles, and block out crying with laughter. She was always there to entertain her family and friends, a very sociable young girl. She was good at presenting herself in school, and making her parents proud. Suko was always easily entertained, and appreciated the simple things in life. She was affectionate to humans, but had an extremely soft spot for animals. When she was five, she found an injured sparrow at the side of the curb. She begged, crying to her parents to take it home, and nurse it back to health. She stayed up for nights, helping the injured bird, and it's broken wing. She name it, 'FuFu', after her stuffed toy, who was coincidently a sparrow too. She hand fed the birth, and released the animal without hesitation after it was fully healed. Suko continued doing good deeds like this, helping out with wild life, and animals that were hurt. She always did what she was told, and never stood out of place. She smiled when she was asked, and was always polite to her friends, teachers, and family.
My a n g r y s i d e When Mitsuko's DNA was fused with the traits of Pegasus, a side was discovered that Suko had never seen before. It stood out of place; bold and awkward compared to her bubbly personality. Pegasus lived within her, it's true colors reflecting within her own. Naturally, Pegasus hates to be restricted, is unabashedly temperamental, has trouble shaking off bad moods, and are hard to figure out. Like a double personality, the creature within in her inhabited her mind, showing itself when it didn't like what was going on. When Suko, or Pegasus gets angry, Suko goes on a rampage. She blanks out, taking her anger out on the nearest thing to her. She becomes extremely irritable, frustrated, and destructible. Suko was diagnosed with a Bipolar disorder, which only upset her further. She wanted them to know, know what she was and what was taking over her, but she couldn't. It was absolutely forbidden.
My s a d s i d e When Suko was seven, her mother died from cancer. She was heart broken from this; completely numb. She denied it for so long, telling herself she was in the midst of nightmare, and she would wake up soon, but when she didn't, she had no idea what do. What to think of the situation. Suko did what she thought was right; block everyone out. When sad, she goes silent, refusing to listen, or communicate with the outside world. She looses trust in everyone, depending on herself for comfort, but none came. She gets frustrated with herself, asking why she can't be like any other normal person. From them, Mitsuko became a very emotional girl, getting upset easily, and blaming herself when something went wrong, even if she wasn't involved in the activity. She holds grudges, and gets worked up when she can't solve a problem, thinking of herself as useful or a mere distraction.
My p r o u d s i d e One thing Mitsuko takes immense pride in is her ballet. She feels completely focused and in the zone when she is doing the thing she loves, and it gives her great happiness, and the feeling that she has accomplished something. Dancing calms her, it's a time she can show her only talent, her strong point; her life goal. Now she has the DNA of Pegasus, she is more elegant and majestic than ever. When Suko is dancing on stage, in front of her family, her friends, and the judges, she feels completely at home. She's totally mellow and calm. The nerves only make her want to succeed further, and impress her father. She wants someone to be proud of her, to stand by and support her every decision.
• • • loves: music, drawing, singing, ballet, dancing, hot chocolate, long walks, sunsets, winning, being right, getting what she wants, horses, animals, flowers, ribbons, beads, bows, jewelry, snow, the sun, the beach, romance novels, faking accents, pretending to be someone else, traveling, geography, volleyball, oranges, the color blue, the sea, the pool, baths, music.
• • • hates: storms, small spaces, scary situations, being scalded, night, the dark, hurting herself, falling, heights, immense pain, needles, being unable to move, itchy clothes, her mood swings, insomnia, school, early mornings, show offs, snobs, over confident people, sadness.
• • • flaws: Suko has extreme mood swings, due to her species. She can go from happy to insanely morbid and destructive in a matter of seconds. When this happens, she will destroy everything in her way, and hurt anyone that happens to be too close by. She can also be very self conscious and shy, wanting to hide and run away from any creature close by. She'll freak out, and become paranoid, thinking everyone is out to get her. Suko doesn't like not getting her way either, and will storm off when she doesn't.
• • • secrets: One of Suko's biggest secrets was her depression when her mother died. She'd sit in her room for days, blaming herself for not exceeding her standards, and being a nuisance to her parents. She also tried suicide after her mother's death, by taking an overdose, but chickened out. She believed that was self centered, and would leave her father lonely.
• • • fears: Suko's main fear is disappointing her father, or doing something so terrible that he turns his back on her. She loves her dear father, and he means the world to her. He is Suko's life support. Her other fears include dying, being discovered by the humans, and having to quit her dream; ballet.
you won't have a chance to deny me
February 4th 2161 It was a quiet night, and winter was still set in place. All was peaceful, except for one thing. At the hospital, another life was beginning. Akihiro and Sakura Hayashi, had their first baby girl, naming her Mitsuko. She was nicknamed 'Tenshi', angel in Japanese, for they said that's exactly what she looked like when she came into the world. Her gentle whimper became familiar in their hearts, as she was placed in Sakura's arms for the first time. Her vibrant eyes were amazing; looking up at her parents faces. They reminded them of the summer ocean; fresh and beautiful. The little hair that rested on her head was almost black, but when caught in the light, shined a vibrant blue. Suko was like a miracle to them, their very own, pretty little girl.
June 16th 2164 Sakura was always bewildered by the way her daughter seemed to dance when she walked, even at such a young age. A mere three years old, Suko was able to twirl around, giggling as her infectious smile lit up her face. Sakura enrolled her in ballet lessons, accompanying her daughter every Saturday as she learned to sweep across the studio, the blue-haired beauty catching everyone's eyes. As months progressed, she was simply labeled as a natural dancer, and that she was. One swift look and she could portray the same movement perfectly, sometimes even better than the original. Bewildered, Sakura couldn't understand where she inherited this talent from. She was clumsy herself, and so was her husband. She was completely different from both her parents, in her own, special way.
August 26th 2166 At the age of five, Mitsuko was now able to compete in her first competition for her ballet career. She was pumped, but full of nerves. She had a simple blue dress, complete with her favorite things; ribbons and bows in her hair. Her parents watched from the audience, as she walked on to stage, her naturally elegant step enough to impress the judges as it was. Suko looked around at the large audience, all eyes on her. She stood in the middle of the spot light, as her music began, before easily prancing, twirling, and sliding around. She felt completely focused, her eyes fluttering shut to embrace the short moments of complete heaven. Right then, she absolutely knew this was what she wanted to do.
April 17th 2167 On the 17th of April, Sakura was diagnosed with lung cancer. This put a lot of pressure on Suko, once she realized the possibility of her dying was fairly high. Suko was stuck; she didn't know what to do, what to think of the situation. She tried to be at her mother's side at all times, but every time she saw Sakura's face, she'd break down. It was too much pressure for a mere six year old, but she understood. She understood the difference between life and death. She didn't want to understand, but she did.
March 8th 2168 The day Sakura passed away in hospital, with Suko by her side. "I love you momma.." the young girl choked, blurry visioned from the tears welling up in her eyes. "Please momma, please don't leave.." she whispered, gasping while she cried of heartbreak. Sakura's eyes closed slowly, a few seconds that seemed like an eternity. Her last breath was exhaled, and the beeping machine that seemed to blend into the background, stood out loud and clear, as it became one big, continuous noise. The line across the screen only meant one thing; death. Mitsuko collapsed onto her mother from where she was sitting, on to the now sleeping body. She sobbed quietly, inhaling her mother's scent, her best friend. "Come back.." Life went silent for Mitsuko for a while after that. Weeks passed, and she refused to believe the fact that her mother was gone; dead. She sat in her room for weeks, watching the days come and go, waiting for her mother to return.
September 4th 2174
Years had passed, days blending into each other. Still her mother hadn't returned, and a hollow heart still remained in her heart. One Saturday, Mitsuko was out at one of her ballet competitions, one of the biggest in the state she lived in. She won first place, her simple elegance astounding to the eyes of her viewers. After the show, she was approached by many people in uniforms, asked to participate in an experiment. Suko eagerly agreed when she was told it could help her fitness, and turned up at the place they'd told her to, the next day. Without warning, they injected some strange substance into her arm, telling her it was just part of the experiment. Immediately, she collapsed to her knees, pain shooting right to her heart as she flinched on the floor, letting out a choked scream. She was scared; petrified. They calmed her, locking her in a white room, with a cushioned floor, and cushioned sides. She cried, demanding an explanation, only telling her it was a DNA test, and the pain wouldn't last too long. They were right yes, but something was completely wrong. Something was inside her; a monster, taking over her mind. Suddenly, great white and blue wings emerged from her back, sending Mitsuko into complete shock. Then, she was told her DNA had been fused with that of Pegasus, the legendary equine. After many weeks, going through fitness tests, stability tests and mental tests, Suko was released under supervision. She was told not to tell a soul about where she had actually been, and what she was doing. She had told her father from the start that she was at a Dancing Camp, outside the city.
Now. Up until now, Mitsuko is still learning how to control her powers, and what she can do with them. She still continues her ballet, and with the help of Pegasus, she's even better. She is still to discover her real powers, and hopes to soon.
