Shine Lake is named for its appearance; whenever the sun rises or sets on this vast body of water, it shines brightly and glistens, reflecting the sun's rays off of the water. This makes it a beautiful, romantic spot. Many reeds and other types of water dwelling plants surround this area, making it look cluttered. There is a small amount of sand surrounding the lake, but most of it is really just mud. Many types of animals live here, including ducks and beavers. This area is very diverse when it comes to wildlife, so it is preserved by the government.
