I am so high, I can hear heaven..
We are monsters. Created for the purpose to serve nothing but violence. To destroy families, societies, lives. Free humans, fused with the DNA's of the beautiful creatures that roam the earth's crust, against their will. Turning two unique species, into artificial clones. Yet, we can't be offended by this. Our own specimen, the human race created this thing, this plan for mass destruction on our own planet. Fighting against each other, with no bold reason but pride. Pride, smothered with gluttony and blood. Humans have turned into disgusting, greedy things. Everyone is the same. They want more, more of things they don't need, things that could be essential for the other species. What self-centered, vain creatures. But us? We're fake, unnatural, and unwanted. Monsters.
The chilling wind interrupted the dancing, white angels that fell from the red, ribbon streaked sky. The white blanket surrounded the tops of buildings, securing it's cold state more with each flake that merged into it. The sunset lit up the sky, the sight enough to make anyone mourn for spring, the season that was just out of touch. Meiko couldn't care less what season it was, what day ended, and about the battle of the sun and the moon that never seemed to end. Her slim frame couldn't be seen from below, as she stood on the roof of the apartment buildings, observing the end to yet another day. Questions went unanswered, heard upon deaf ears. She stood silently, her gentle stance interrupted by the wind. The icy fingers gripped at her indigo locks, whipping them into the air in a dancing frenzy, raising the hairs on her arms. The thin fabric of her dress hugged around her curves as the wind blew them back, her mahogany wolf tail protruding from underneath, setting gently behind her legs. Her slender, chocolate ears drooped a little, following the setting of the unknown aura the shifter carried. Meiko.
Cloudy, blue orbs closed themselves, her long eyelashes fanned out across her cheeks. Meiko let the harsh wind hit her in the face, a harsh reminder of what she was. She had to stay clear of the humans, it was a need. The foul creatures where no more than a pain struck in her heart, for those things had turned her into what she was. A monster, something that shouldn't have to exist. She can't turn back, yet she can't continue. She's stuck, stuck in the hollow moment, in a hole with no walls; just blackness. She can no longer hide what she is, what she has become, and what she will be forever. She could hide it, but why bother? The world is bound to find out the secret of the unknown sometime, and when they do, all hell will break loose. Sanity will be lost; man-kind destroyed.
"Monster.." Meiko whispered to the earth, no trace of emotion found in her tone. Just words. Words with no meaning, yet a thousand questions. Inhaling deeply, the shifter leaned forward the slightest, her bare feet barely gripping the ledge beneath her. Beneath her spelt death, but she wasn't ready to leave this world yet. She crossed her pale arms across her chest, opening her eyes once again to glance around at her surroundings, taking in the noises of the city, and the nauseating smell of fumes and chemicals. Was she alone, really? She was still to find more of her kind. There had to be more, but the possibility that she was the only one left an empty feeling inside her body. Being alone was something Meiko was well used to, but this kind of loneliness, was terrifying.
Woah, wherever, no heaven don't hear me..
