i'm smoother than words
• • • full name: nero malus hiroshi • • • nicknames: he likes to be called hiroshi-san. • • • gender: male • • • date of birth & age: february sixth, seventeen • • • sexuality: heterosexual • • • race: human • • • face claim: xarxes break + pandora hearts you're smoother than curves
Hair: Nero’s hair is snow white, with some violet tinted shades in certain places. It is not very long, but then again, it is longer than most males his age. It reaches down to his ends of his face and flares out at the sides in a frayed sort of fashion. It has been cut into layers, yet he manages to keep it neat and tidy.
Eyes: Because he is an albino, Nero was given a set of blood red eyes. They are eerie, no doubt, but despite that, Nero is quite proud of them. They make him stand out from a crowd, easily give him a very intimidating stare, which he uses to get what he wants. Nero is quite partial to making others afraid.
Height: This seventeen year old is not exactly the tallest of his peers, but he is not short, either. He stands at a height of five feet, eleven inches, but wishes he were a tad taller. His dream is to tower over everyone, and whether that be literally or figuratively doesn’t really matter to this enigmatic albino.
Weight: If there is anything Nero isn’t, it’s fat, or chubby at all. You won’t find much excess fat on this guy, for he weighs about one hundred twenty nine pounds. He takes great pride in the way he looks, since he helps his dad out around his country club, he stays fit and slim easily by keeping active.
Piercings/Tattoos: Only but one tattoo does Nero dons, and that is the symbol of his father’s country club, the dragon. It can be found on his back, so not many people know about it, and hell if Nero cares if someone found out about it anyway. It’s black, and starts from the back of his neck, to down near his hips.
Anything else?: This seventeen year old comes from an exceedingly wealthy family, and he’ll make sure he flaunts this fact in your face every change he gets, and this is done mostly by his clothing style. Nero can always be found in some extravagant outfit, no matter if the occasion he’s dressed for is casual or not.
i speak so eloquently
— the manipulator Nero always gets what he wants. This is a fact he has been brought up to know, and it’s not something that he’s ever going to forget. Whether it be using his gift of a silver tongue, or using money, or even his small status of power to get what he wants, then so be it. Most people are just commoners to him, just tools that he can use to reach his goals, to get where he wants to go, to do whatever he means to do. This albino has more deceit in one finger than most people have in their whole body, and that’s something one recognizes.
— temper, temper It’s very easy to get the youngest Hiroshi ticked off, just ask the people he’s asked his father to see throw in jail. Whether it be when things don’t go his way, or even something as little as his favorite silver ring going missing, there’s always something to be angry about when it comes to Nero. It doesn’t really help that he’s not good at getting calm, either. When he gets angry, it can only be calmed down by music, or a long drink of sparkling apple cider. Trust me, you don’t want to get Nero mad. The results are simply explosive…
— green monster Jealousy runs easily through Nero’s veins, especially when other people have what he desire. It’s not a really a feeling that he experiences very often, because he is insanely wealthy, and his money has managed to buy him almost everything he wants. But when he can’t have something he wants, and someone else has it, you can practically see his skin turn green. This jealousy is not really an easily bridled emotion, and it is probably one of his biggest downfalls. It’s this jealousy that makes him ruthless and unforgiving as he is.
— oh so passionate When Nero loves something, or feels very strongly about someone, then the feeling is probably never going to die. It is a strange trait, for his father is about as passionate as a rock, but the trait seemed to skip his dad, going straight to Nero so that he was overdosed with it. It is easy for him to be overcome with an emotion, as described above, but passion is probably his second biggest weakness. He can’t help but love what he loves, and he’d go to the ends of the earth to protect those close to him. No matter what that may take.
— disciplined, driven All of these traits lead to him being a driven individual. Nero is a go getter: he gets what he wants when he wants it, and there is never any exceptions. Sure, some things might take a longer time for him to have in his grasp, but Nero knows that there is nothing or no one that could ever escape from him. He’s got the wealth, the power inherited from his dad, so why should there be anything that he cannot have? Such a thought is delusional, sure, but Nero is probably not all there. You know what they say — like father, like son.
• • • loves: blondes, the number seven, manipulating others, getting what he wants, white roses, large mansions, strawberry pastries, waltzing, being superior to others, flaunting his superiority, demeaning others, lengthy novels, fine chocolate, the idea of being ‘perfect,’ winning, silver jewelry (looks better than gold, to him), money, power, fame, fireworks, movies with dramatic endings, guns and other firearms, his pearl-handed pistol, listening to classical music, caramel flavored popcorn
• • • hates: posers, people who think that they’re better than him, people who are better than him, beggars, corduroy fabrics, extremely hot climates, the sun, light in general, messy places, messy activities, being told ‘no,’ not getting his way, when people think they can outsmart him, the colors purple and silver, birthday candles (they get wax on the cake!), imperfections, physical flaws, when people take away the things he loves from him, puzzle games, being bested by someone better than him.
• • • flaws: is extremely overprotective, becomes obsessive when it comes to reaching a goal, does not take ‘no’ for an answer, thinks much too highly of himself, believes the world revolves around him, will purposely go out of his way to hurt someone, is very vain, judges people based on appearances, has an aversion to sunlight, would rather help himself rather than other, lives in his own little world, would go to the ends of the earth to protect someone that he cares very much about, no matter what.
• • • secrets: even though he’d rather see her dead than hang around someone else, nero really does believe that he loves anrui, despite all his hostile actions. he also hates the fact that she will never return his feelings for her willingly, and no matter what he does, he’ll never be loved by her.
• • • fears: anrui falling in love with someone else, anrui moving from equivo city, getting old, his father dying, being poor, his mother coming back from the mental institution one day.
you won't have a chance to deny me
— act one, birth For nine months, Hana Hiroshi spent loathing the baby growing steadily inside of her, wishing countless times that she could abort, about and be rid of the useless parasite sharing her body. Oh, how she knew that her life wasn’t perfect, and she knew that keeping the child could not make it any better, but having one, she knew, would only make it much worse. Many times did she attempt to cause damage to her stomach in order to terminate the child once and for all, but Hisoka would always find her in the act, raise a hand to her face and slap it promptly, constantly having to teach her a lesson. She wept, day in, day out, every time such happened, and for nine months, Hana Hiroshi was tortured - both physically and mentally. Finally, on a cold February day, her spawn was rushed out of her, and her agony was finally over… Or, so she had assumed.
Their son was albino. It was a complete shock to Hisoka, but Hana had a feeling something like this would happen. Hana’s own mother and father had been albino, it was in her blood, or in other words, their son’s condition was totally her fault, according to Hisoka. A look of anger had rushed in his eyes when being delivered the news, and he probably would’ve attacked her if the doctor’s hadn’t asked if he wanted to hold his newborn son. Agreeing to this, the new father watched the baby intently, and then, watched onwards with a look of shock painted on his face as their son opened his eyes for the first time. They were a crimson red — eerie, enigmatic, striking, just like a Hiroshi should be. Hisoka smiled to himself, for it was then that he knew that his son would not let his condition hold him down when he got older. He would be a true bearer of the Hiroshi family name, just as planned. For Hisoka always got what he wanted.
— act two, growth Despite his albino condition, the boy did not seem to mind that he looked so different, compared to the other children around him. In fact, he prided himself at that fact. No one else had red eyes are such pale skin because they must be inferior, was his thoughts on the situation. Sure, he couldn’t go in sunlight because of it, but this never bothered Nero, considering he wasn’t really much for the sun and light anyway. Perhaps the meaning of his name signaled to that, for nero, after all, did mean “dark.” He embraced his differences, found himself to be unique, and because he was unique, he must be better than everyone else. His father encouraged this sort of behavior, going so far as to say that it was perfectly alright for Nero to disrespect and look down upon his fellow classmates, should he wish to. They had more money than the rest of them all, what good were their opinions? The Hiroshi family didn’t need anyone else, and they never would.
He grew up watching his father abuse his mother without really giving much thought to it. Yes, Hisoka was indeed a wife-beater, and found nothing wrong with the idea. Hana was foolish, needed to be punished for every mistake that she made, especially when it came to running the business. For the reason why they lot of them — the Hiroshi family, that is — are so wealthy, was because of the Hiroshi Country Club that Hisoka ran. Before him, his father ran the club, and before that, his father ran the club, and so on and so forth. It was a well-known spot in the city, for the rich and wealthy to dwindle away money on relaxing sports, a fine and relaxing atmosphere, as well as being able to mingle with other wealthy folk. Hana was the money manager for it all (for Hisoka could not be bothered with numbers) and whenever she made a financial mistake, there would be hell to pay. Nero grew up thinking that it was perfectly natural for the weak to be punished, and never respected his mother in the long run. Hana knew this would happen all along…
— act three, egomaniac As the child grew, his face became prominent around his father’s country club. They all regarded him kindly, and because he was a spitting image of his father, showed him respect by calling him ‘Mr. Hiroshi’ or even ‘Hiroshi-san,’ just like his old man. He was adored by all, which easily made him think very highly of himself at such a young age. And having a father like Hisoka obviously didn’t help to bring him back down to earth. The more Nero became perfect in Hisoka’s eyes, the more he grew to hate his wife. He began to beat her more often, which eventually, drove Hana Hiroshi insane. One day, the inevitable happened, and she tried to hang herself in the back room in front of country club guests, who were just talking by the bar, trying to have a good time. It was said that when Hisoka heard of the news, he didn’t try to stop her. If not for an interfering country club member, she would’ve succeeded in her suicide attempt. In order to be rid of her, Hisoka sent her off to the local mental institution, glad for her to be out of her hair. He hired another accountant, and all was normal in the Hiroshi household, as if nothing happened. However, the event changed Nero, for Hisoka came to his son and said, “If you ever find a women you love, son, make sure you really love her. Or else you’d be stuck with her, like what almost happened to myself…”
Nero took this feeling to heart, and decided that one day, he’d find the woman of his dreams, and she’d be the most beloved woman in all of the land. He’d treat her right, he knew he would, and she’d be showered with flowers, the finest jewelry, anything her heart desired. Conveniently, it was around that time when he discovered Anrui. He can recall the day so clearly, like a dream painted clearly before his eyes. He was on his daily stroll through the park, talking and laughing with a couple other of his friends, who were equally wealthy as he, when he saw her. The smiling blonde, picking flowers in the park, laughing to herself and smiling. Such a pure beauty, he thought, that she had to be his. Nero tracked down where she went to school, found out her age, her locker number, her homeroom. She was only thirteen at the time (while he was fifteen) but it mattered not about the age difference - she was to be his. It was easy to win her over at first, all it took was a bouquet of white roses and a pure silver necklace found stuck in her locker, with his name embroidered in the gift tag. He left her guessing who ‘Nero Hiroshi’ might be for a week, until finally introducing himself to her….
— act four, broken At first, everything was totally as planned. What could be wrong about a guy who sent a lady flowers and jewelry, right? For a short time, Anrui was his, and that short while was probably the happiest time in Nero’s life. Anrui was completely spoiled by him, for whatever she wanted, she got. Jewelry, chocolates, expensive clothing? She got it. At first, nobody could’ve ever predicted that their relationship would turn sour. That is, until she met that shifter. Or at least, that’s what Nero thought they were called. He had seen strange people around town, with animal ears, animal tails, with animalistic qualities… How he loathed the freaks, and his father did too, going as far as to call them “a perversion of nature.” People with animalistic qualities were wholly banned at his country club because of that, for the Hiroshi family had no tolerance for people who were just so unnatural such as them. And now, Anrui was hanging around one of them? Oh, Nero knew he was a shifter, he had that air about him, that animalistic quality that he loathed so much… He would make sure the shifter would pay for tainting his beloved Anrui.
When he asked her about her new shifter friend, she smiled and claimed that he was a nice person and that perhaps Nero would like him too, if he got to know him. Nero was disgusted by the thought, demanded that she stop hanging around him, or else there would be hell to pay. Of course Anrui wouldn’t stop associating with him, which ticked off Nero more and more. They’ll be hell to pay, Nero warned time and time again, but Anrui wouldn’t believe him. To prove a point, Nero went to his father, who, because he had so much money and donated to the city quite often, was quite influential in the law. He persuaded Hisoka to convince the police force that some of Anrui’s friends were shoplifters, and that they should be taken to jail immediately. And sure enough, the deed was done, as if to warn Anrui what would happen if she defied him, only things would be much worse. This was the last straw for the blonde, who immediately cut things off with Nero after that, shaken up by the loss of her friends, not able to believe what Nero had become.
— final act, revenge No one ever broke up with Nero, especially not his beloved Anrui. It was then that he decided that if Anrui could not be hers, then he’d just have to kill her and the shifter. Then they’d realize who they were messing with. The youngest Hiroshi went to his father, asking for a gun at the mere age of seventeen. Hisoka asked no questions, and bought the most expensive gun out there on the market, a pearl-handed pistol, which Nero was trained by his father to use. Technically, he was underage and shouldn’t have even been allowed to even carry a gun, but his father bought him a license anyway (persuading the people to let Nero have one, of course, which took thousands and thousands of dollars). Nero’s heart has been broken, and it’s healed in a crooked sort of way, to the point where he believes Anrui and the shifter must be killed in order for him to be happy again. He’d rather have Anrui back at his side, but believes that this will never happen, no matter how much he loves her. So far, he’s made himself known about how serious he is about this by firing warning shots through both Anrui’s and the shifter’s window at night, left threatening notes, and stood outside Anrui’s window, watching her intently. Oh, he’ll have her back… But it might be tricky with that damn shifter standing in his way.
• • • father: hisoka hiroshi, forty one, country club owner • • • mother: hana hiroshi, thirty nine, (is in mental institution) • • • siblings: none, only child. • • • pets: a female white cat named eleanor. • • • additional information: despite his father’s wishes, nero carries around a pearl-handed pistol with him at all times, keeping it hidden in the depths of his cloak. without it being on him at all times, he feels naked, useless, weak. it is probably his only weakness, not having it on him, that is. he is also an albino, equipped with a rare set of red eyes to boot. strangely enough, he’s proud of his eerie look.
i'm a sucker for lovers
